Within the 1916 residence of Ellen Browning Scripps, you can marvel at their works. However, if a different sort of museum is what appeals to you, especially the kind that involves firefighting, the Firehouse Museum in Columbia Street is where you should spend the day with the kids.
Art is not only found within the confines of museum walls in San Diego. Everywhere in its delightful neighborhoods you will bump into creative pieces. There is art intermingled with bridges and art in the open streets, heck there's even art in a number of San Diego's culinary feasts!
