Tal Engel redesigns the classic bath tub by using building techniques commonly found in boat building by making use of a pressed woven veneer sheet that’s held by a steel frame. Dubbed the Otaku, the design is meant to "emphasize on a 'micro-cosmos' of relations between sailing and bathing - as a state of mind, and between the boat and the bathtub as functional entities". h/t Design Milk.
